You are invited!
Our successful and very sociable Holistic Centre of Excellence Open Night will take place on Wed eve 1st May at 7.30 in the function room at Crokers Restaurant, in the main street of Murroe Village. If you would like to meet with the Tutors, Graduates and current students that I am constantly rambling on about, this is a great opportunity to do so. So please let me know if you and your guest would like to join us-we need to make sure that we have enough room! The evening is suitable for anyone who would like to more about HCE and the field of energy & alternative medicine.
The pace of change in acceptance and recognition of the value of Holistic Therapies, is staggering at the moment. It is definitely a growth market, and as I have felt for years, my concern is that we won’t have enough professionally qualified therapists soon. The World Health Organisation, have recently issued directives to all Medical Doctors that they must consider the spirit of their patients!!!!!! Well Doc’s if you need training in that department you won’t have to look too far! The results from Holistic Therapies speak for themselves, and the elevated awareness among the general public is what I find most exciting. It is fantastic that the public have started trusting their own personal experiences, with regard to the increased health benefits they have had first hand experience of. Daily I hear clients saying-my friend, colleague, relations etc thought that their experience with a Holistic Therapist was incredibly rewarding. It seems it is the topic of conversation in most settings these days-how exciting is that? Our role at HCE is to de-mystify the extensive range of therapies available and to educate the public on the safest way to locate a therapist, offer a common-sense explanation as to how the various systems work, or indeed an in-dept scientific lecture if that’s what’s required. At the same time we have raised the bar on the training levels in Ireland, producing the most comprehensive training course available, including our exclusive teacher-training program. It’s a community affair though, and we have an invaluable support system for all of our therapists, which really set’s us at an entirely different level, and our community is an open one, so please do join us on May 1st to have a first hand experience of what I mean.
Meanwhile back at the ranch-we welcome Margaret Collins Smyth, who will be exploring the field of Psychotherapy, and will be offering her wonderful Foundation Year in Psychotherapy starting in September.
The course on Special Children will run on 23rd April 9.30 to 12.30, let us know if you’d like to join us.
Our one day Shirodhara training is open to all massage therapists that’s on Thur 25th.
We are delighted to announce a two day Reflexology for Cancer Care course on Sat/Sun 11th & 12th May, open to qualified Reflexologists, but places are very limited so early booking essential.
Then on Thur May 16th we will have a class on Cranio Sacral Therapy 9.30 to 12.30.
That should keep our appetite satisfied for the next couple of weeks!
Did I mention I LOVE my work!
Till next time
Love & Light
