Holistic Centre of Excellence at Glenstal
We are thrilled to announce that the full-time diploma in Holistic Therapies will start this September at the Holistic Centre of Excellence in the wonderful setting of Glenstal Abbey in Murroe, Co Limerick, we truly couldn’t ask for a more appropriate setting, and the news has us buzzing all week. This is a unique course and the Holistic Centre of Excellence is the first to offer it in Ireland. Students will study over 20 Holistic modalities, and receive practitioner qualifications in 10, the course will run 5 days per week, and we have a highly qualified team of 12 tutors who are passionate about Holistic healing, as is evidenced by each of their busy private practices. At the end of the academic year, the students will have had ample clinical experience and will be in a position to set up their own practices immediately. The other unique aspect of the course is that the students will receive ongoing further support through the alumni program after graduation. The only pre-requisite for entry to the course is an interview process; we are also excited that we have the ability to facilitate students with special needs. Places are limited so if you are interested please contact us to register asap.
Dr Brian Clements gave an inspiring talk in Cork last Friday, he owns the Hippocrates Centre in Florida and has been treating clients with cancer through diet & lifestyle changes for over 40 years. There is so much we can do to help ourselves both in prevention and cure of disease through diet changes, we all need to wake up to the degree of which we are poisoning ourselves, mind you some of the changes necessary require a complete paradigm shift in thinking! If you are interested in learning more Bernadette Bohan-who cured herself of cancer through diet changes-is giving a three day training in Grove Health Spa on March 25th, for further info email Bernadette on or contact Jacqueline at grove health spa at .

Thanks to the crew who came to UL last Thursday to support International Women’s -Day Conference- it was an inspiring day, and we thoroughly enjoyed listening to the guest speakers while we did treatments, in the beautiful setting of the Irish Chamber Orchestra Building. Us therapists could absolutely relate to everything Catherine McGeachy said in her inspiring talk, thank you Catherine and to UL for inviting us.
